This is a client-facing role that requires strong marketing, business development, customer service and administrative skills with a keen focus on meaningful relationship building. The Business Development Associate will own the office’s lead generation, pipeline retention, and client and professional referral processes. Additionally, the BDA will coordinate with our internal Marketing Department and is responsible for assisting with and implementing various marketing initiatives.

Position Responsibilities

We’re looking for a driven and focused individual to own marketing and business development activities for the Retirement division. The Business Development Associate must feel confident in working to pull new prospects through the marketing funnel and sales process as they work with the Advisor to implement a retirement plan. They must be results driven and capable of thinking outside-the-box when challenged to create new solutions to meet division sales goals.

Position responsibilities include but are not limited to those described below. Many responsibilities will necessitate coordination with our internal Marketing Department.

       

A. Marketing Operations

  • Develop new and manage existing lead generation activities (e.g. direct mail invitations, radio show/radio ads, client referral events, digital advertising, etc.).
  • Maintain existing lead quality and implement additional changes and improvements as dictated by sales results.
  • Plan and facilitate execution of events and communications campaigns (e.g. seminars, client events, quarterly newsletter, radio show, etc.).
  • Work to determine event budgets, coordinate event production, and manage expenses to that budget.
  • Keep promotional materials up-to-date by coordinating requirements with marketing team; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt; etc.
  • Generate and maintain reports based on metrics collected, such as: event registrations, conversion ratios, lead sources, etc.
  • Analyze marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) to determine effectiveness and efficiency and help shape future marketing strategies.
  • Maintain existing and establish new relationships with third party vendors as necessary.

B. Pipeline Coordination

  • Advance sales pipeline by creating and facilitating marketing initiatives to convert new prospect leads into committed appointments, retain committed appointments in the pipeline, and convert committed appointments into clients.
  • Actively seek out new opportunities that engage prospects and increase business opportunities in efforts to improve division’s closing ratio.
  • Attend all events as a client-facing representative to promote and ensure the success of the event.

Position Requirements

  • BS/BA in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a marketing, and/or business development role.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline driven and collaborative environment.
  • Possess an understanding of how to manage priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment.
  • Solid computer skills, including: MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and social media platforms.

Position: Digital Marketing Associate

Position Overview

This is a hybrid role that requires general content writing, and marketing operations skills.  A creative portfolio (5-10 works) demonstrating a working knowledge of graphic design programs and content marketing skills are required for consideration. The Digital Marketing Associate will be responsible for running the company’s social media profile, email marketing efforts, and marketing operations support for all four of the company’s business units.

The Digital Marketing Associate will be responsible for executing marketing strategies that utilize a variety of vehicles across multimedia channels. The right candidate will be versatile – able to write content for print, web, social and mobile. They must be an excellent writer, who is social media savvy with a knack for building and executing editorial calendars targeting multiple audiences.     

Position Overview

Communication is a big part of the job, so the Digital Marketing Associate must feel confident contributing and assisting the entire creative process supporting the Marketing team during various stages of development and execution.

A. Creative Services

  • Knowledge of and ability to contribute to lead-focused social media and email campaigns. 
  • Ensure creative marketing materials undergo client/editorial approvals and adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions with the marketing team and stakeholders; assist in managing projects from idea development to delivery.
  • Comfortable working with third-party vendors, web developers and production companies to ensure accuracy and delivery of projects on deadline.

B. Marketing Services

The Digital Marketing Associate will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans. They must be a right and left brained thinker with the ability to creatively reach targets through tactical execution to product promotion.

  • Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning, etc.)
  • Execute editorial calendars to reach target audiences through online and media channels (social, email, podcast, PR, radio, etc.)
  • Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) to determine campaign efficiency and help shape future marketing strategies.
  • Provide reports based on metrics collected, such as: event registrations, conversion ratios, website leads, click thrus, opens, form submissions, views/likes/shares, etc.
  • Conduct research and contribute to the digital marketing processes that clearly align with business objectives.
  • Execute digital marketing campaign assets. Activities may include updates to WordPress, social media management, email and newsletter development, and more.
  • Responsible for processing Recurring Emails – responsible for the execution and continuous improvement of regularly recurring emails.
  • Special projects and other duties will be assigned as needed.

Position Requirements

  • Creative portfolio (5-10 works on a website) demonstrating   campaign level work samples for email marketing and social media capabilities are required for consideration.
  • BS/BA in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Creative Writing,  or related field.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a marketing and/or copywriting role creating content for multiple channels/audiences.
  • Fundamental understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing, such as Automation/SEO/Social media, etc.) and market research methods.
  • Results focused mindset with a passion for driving revenue through content in the form of engagement, leads and sales.
  • Project management skills with an understanding of how to manage priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment.
  • Comfortable mining marketing data using Google Analytics, web, social and email platforms to gauge effectiveness of content for multiple campaigns running concurrently.
  • Experience with WordPress, Blogging, Google Analytics and the top social media channels.
  • Solid computer skills, including: MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, MailChimp (Web/Email Analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
  • Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind that is well-organized and detail oriented.

• Sales leadership to include increasing lease renewals.
• Property management that ensures the physical condition of the property aesthetic values are maximized, asset value is preserved, and risks are minimized.

• Manage Accounts Receivable ensuring timely rental payments.
