This is a client-facing role that requires direct selling and marketing skills with a keen focus on meaningful relationship building. The Director of First Impressions will be responsible for executing tactical sales, marketing and events plans. Additionally, they will own the office’s sales process and serve as the first and last point of-contact for prospects and clients. The DFI will be comped on serving clients, building and nurturing relationships and effectively pulling prospects through the sales funnel.

Position Responsibilities
We’re looking for an energetic, dynamic, driven and focused individual to own sales, marketing and events coordination for the Acute Financial brand. The right candidate will be versatile – able to support sales and marketing, direct office operations and the planning and execution of large and/or small events. They must be an exceptional people-person with a sincere and outgoing demeanor, who enjoys connecting with and building lasting relationships with prospects/clients.
The Director of First Impressions supports the Senior Advisor, Advisor, Senior Client Service Coordinator and Marketing Manager and in the planning, coordination and execution of seminars, workshops and client-facing initiatives from the company’s internal Sales and Marketing Departments.
They will be responsible for the coordination and planning of events, booking appointments with clients, reserving venues, setting up tradeshow booths, set up/breaking down events, ordering catering, hiring entertainment/talent for events, forging relationships with community partners for events, etc. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

A. Sales Coordination
Excellent sales service is a big part of the job, so the Director of First Impressions must feel confident in working closely with prospects to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions. They must be results driven and capable of thinking outside-the-box when challenged to create new solutions to meet sales goals that drive rapid growth.
• Serves as key point of contact between advisors, prospects and clients: confirming appointments, answering queries, offering advice and introducing new products.
• Advance sales pipeline by retaining committed prospects and converting new prospect leads into committed appointments.
• Greet and engage guests, manage sales calendars, maintain CRM with updated and accurate prospect/client information, answer and direct incoming calls.
• Supports sales and marketing team by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, new product information; relaying customer services requests.
• Delivers sales presentations in an office setting and at events/seminars/workshops to prospects and existing clients that cater to the customer’s needs and foster loyalty through long-term commitments.
• Maintains positive relationships with clients by providing support, information and guidance; researches and recommends customized opportunities to satisfy unique needs identified in the relationship building process.
• Negotiates/closes deals and handles complaints or objections with professionalism – always maintaining exceptional quality of service and demonstrating our core values.
• Actively seeks out new business opportunities and plans programs that attract prospects through cold calling, networking and social media engagement.
• Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing weekly, monthly and quarterly sales and marketing data.
B. Marketing Operations
The Director of First Impressions will be an integral part of the coordination and execution of marketing plans. They must be process and detail oriented with a flair for creatively reaching targets through tactical execution to product promotion.
• Plans and facilitates execution of marketing, events and communications campaigns to meet sales goals. Creates, delivers, edits and optimizes these marketing materials as needed.
• Works with associates and advisors to determine events budgets, coordinates events production and manages expenses to that budget.
• Keeps promotional materials up-to-date by coordinating requirements with marketing team; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt; etc.
• Analyzes marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) to determine campaign efficiency and helps shape future marketing strategies.
• Provides reports based on metrics collected, such as: event registrations, conversion ratios, website leads, click thrus, opens, form submissions, views/likes/shares, CX trends, etc.
• Assists with outbound and inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning, etc.).

Position Requirements
• BS/BA in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in a sales and/or marketing role.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline driven and collaborative environment.
• Proven track record as a client-facing associate, who meets sales and marketing goals.
• Thorough understanding of sales and negotiating techniques.
• Fundamental understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing, such as Automation/SEO/Social media, etc.) and market research methods.
• Project management skills with an understanding of how to manage priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment.
• Solid computer skills, including: Social Media Platforms, MS Office, WordPress and MailChimp a plus.

Position Overview
Assess needs of proposed insured based upon collection and analysis of proposed insured financial information (e.g. property review, loss review, credit rating and other underwriting criteria) as deemed necessary by appointed companies.
• Quote policies for new and existing customers.
• Monitor/Track customer’s policy renewal dates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
• Maintain strict adherence and compliance to all laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures and internal controls specific to your role.

Position Responsibilities
• Provide accurate quotes for insurance policies to qualified borrowers, as requested by Loan Operations team, in a timely manner.
• Record all sales activity in company’s CRM.
• Maintain client database with all insurance policies (Deductible, Coverage Limits, Renewal Date, Underwriter Information).
• Alert Loan Servicing department and policy holders on policy renewal dates.
• Provide EOIs to policy holders and Loan Servicing department as requested.
• Track sales volumes for each policy type.
• Generate quotes for ancillary business insurance needs, as requested.

Position Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Texas Property Casualty (P&C) license required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an agent specializing in property casualty insurance sales required.
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial approach to growing business.
• Demonstrated experience maintaining existing business relationships.
• Experience in an independent agency preferred.
• Experience with insurance focused CRM.
• Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Certifications, etc.
• Must be able to maintain appointments with various external insurance carriers.
• Must be bondable.
